An Image (In A Parable)
There are kites flying in the sky. Men and women launch them, and hold them for a time.
Typically their release is shortlived. Their flier’s exuberance is likewise.
A few fly higher than the rest. These lay claim to possession by gamblers who stake their reputations on flying masterfully within inches of string on spools.
When winds are constant, these gamblers are the heroes- the ubermensch- of the sky. When winds are unsteady they rip the string from the spool and master the kites themselves.
Can you square a circle? Let me give it a whirl.
